Visit to the Lastovo Islands Nature Park by sea

During this tour, you will see the richness of natural and cultural values ​​and get to know the way of life of the inhabitants, the history and traditional activities of the island of Lastovo.

The route cruises along the northern side of the island across the coves of Kručice, Zaklopatice, Mihajla, Lučice, Zace, towards the Lastovnjaci archipelago. Shorter stops on the islet of Mladina in the Saplun bay are planned, where you can enjoy swimming and diving. On your way back, you will discover the coves of the southern side of the island, among which are Skrivena Luka, with the Struga lighthouse, which dates back to 1863, and the remains of military facilities in the Vejo Sea cove. While approaching your destination, you will pass by the Makarac islet, with the church of St. Raphael (15th century) in Vejo Lago, and you will finish your journey by passing through the islands of Prežba and Mrčara to Pasadur.

The picturesque fishing huts, the nesting spots of the grey hawk, the underwater springs, habitats of the shearwater, sunken ships, meadows of posidonia, corals, lobsters and the gold coral will round off the story that our nature conservators will introduce you to.

Church route

Since ancient times, the people of Lastovo have been devoted to their faith in God, they sought comfort in times of hardship, luck in the present, and hope for a better tomorrow. To this end, they built many churches and consecrated chapels in honour of patron saints, and many of them are protected as an individual cultural asset. The route of the churches will take you past the trail that old Lastovo people took, and on this journey, you will visit some of the most beautiful stone churches of the island of Lastovo.

Route I – duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes: St. Cosmas and Damian – St. Mary on Grža (Sv. Marija na Grži) – St. Joseph – St. Augustine – St. Anthony – St. Barbara – St. Mary in the Field – St. Vincent – St. Roch – St. Blaise – St. John the Baptist

Route II – duration: 3 hours: St. Cosmas and Damian – St. Mary on Grža (Sv. Marija na Grži) – St. Joseph – St. Augustine – St. Lucy – St. Anthony – St. Saviour – St. Barbara – St. Elijah – St. Mary in the Field – St. Vincent – St. Martin – St. Michael – St. Roch – St. Blaise – St. John the Baptist

We recommend that you visit the remnants of the early Christian basilica from the 6th century in Ubli, the church of St. Luke from the 11th century in the part of old path Ubli-Lastovo and the church of St. Cyprian from the 11th-13th century in Skrivena Luka.
